It’s been 6 months, a year maybe even longer. Last time you had family portraits done the baby wasn’t even walking. Now that baby is a little person and everyone else has changed so much. Grandma keeps asking for a new picture of all of you and the thought of getting everyone happy, groomed and willing for one hour on a specific day is overwhelming.
I totally get it! I go through the same struggle. I insist that my family do a update twice a year…usually the spring and fall but last year we only got them done once. My husbands military job is demanding and this year requires more traveling than we’ve come accustom to. I had plans to hire one of my favorite up and coming local photographers who I’ve watched grow and love. But timing. It’s never right.
So when another friend wanted to throw together quick family photos (we trade out) I had to jump in. I had 48 hours to get together outfits…
I always go to our closets first. I check to see if the girls have anything they haven’t wore out or outgrown and then look for something we might have to coordinate. This time I happened to find dresses at H&M for $14.99 and my dress was marked down at Aero 60% and I by fluke saw it as we were leaving the mall. Evan already had his shirt and we went with shoes we already had. So for less than $50 we had our outfits! I would consider that a win!!
Here is what Came of our short notice 15 Minute session.
-My goal is always one good family shot, one of me and the girls and one of Evan and the girls. 3 images that’s all I need, anything else is a blessing.
My 3 must have favs and a few extras 🙂
If My family can do it, so can yours!!
What are you waiting for?? Your future generations deserve it!
